Obama says...

Obama says, “Families are off limits.”

I can perhaps agree with that in a sense, but when you are in the eye of the public everything will be analyzed – and even more so when you foundation says you speak of abstinence and doing away with birth control. So every step analyzed, every gesture recorded and every syllable taken apart. Is it right, perhaps not but it is what happens.

Yes, I am talking of Palin a woman with less than two years experience and no international experience at all. How do we put someone like that into office? How would it even be right and how does McCain have the gall to have picked her when he preached of Obama’s lack of experience. It is the pot calling the kettle black.

And it isn’t right.

Everyone is indeed entitled to their own opinions, and I would agree that the state of this country is awful. It needs change, it needs revitalization but it needs to continue moving forward and not backward. The human rights need to stay intact, the rights of woman, my god if birth control is done away with we become a third world country getting abortions of birth control in dirty corners where everything is less than clean.

It boggles my mind, did McCain truly believe he would woe Hilary supporters because of palin’s vagina? Her platform is not similar, he stance is not similar and she surely doesn’t have the same charisma as Hilary did (at least in my opinion). The second boggle to my mind is, does McCain really believe that the staunch Christians would even want to see a woman in office, I mean really let’s think about it.

Politics are a three ring circus, but I really think that McCain has dug his grave electing Palin as VP.

Did he (McCain) say he picked Palin to get the Hilary vote, or is that just an assumption?... b/c I don't see correlation.
If he'd picked a man, would we have said, "he did that just cuz Obama picked a man?"
Or if he'd picked a bi-racial candidate would we be saying, "he did that just cuz Obama is bi-racial?" or if he'd picked a Muslim we'd say, "he did that just b/c Obama is Muslim"?

Yes..pot calling kettle black, and yes, she's inexperienced and has extreme ideas (which I'm totally for either), but saying he picked her to get the "vagina vote" is like saying the Dems only wanted Obama cuz he could get the black vote that way.

(and this isn't anything personal on what you wrote...just something I'm thinking as I sit here typing.I haven't seen where he said that was the reason he picked her, so I'm just wondering outloud.)

I think it's pretty obvious the McCain camp DID choose on basis of the vagina and hoping it would woo the Hillary supporters( which no way in hell it would). The other part of the woman choice is just to get all those clueless women out there who really don't know what the fuck is going on and they usually never vote (you know the type, "OMFG...stupid President on TV when Desperate Housewives should be! The nerve!!" ) and make it more appealing to go to the polls and vote for someone of their own gender. You know how that whole sub-genre of women is all about that "sisterhood" crap but totally not feminists at all, so the marketing of it makes sense.

To me,anyway :P

It's obvious that McCain had his eyes on Palin since it was shown that Hilary was pulling lots of support. When he announced her it didn't surprise me because he has to do all he can to "try" to get any votes he can...but if he really believes that any Hilary supports will be swayed by this thinly veiled bullshit, he's a bigger idiot than I thought he was. Pfft!
